The Single Industrial Licence (SIL) is the administrative act issued through the Electronic Single Point of Contact for industrial licences (PCUEL) which certifies the fulfilment of all legal conditions required for carrying out a specific industrial activity.
SIL consolidates the approvals/authorisations issued by multiple competent authorities, the validity of the single licence being directly correlated with the validity of these underlying approvals.
How to obtain it: The process involves several digital steps: enrolment and authentication (through ROeID/PSCID and eIDAS), licence simulation, submission of the single application, uploading and validation of the file (quantitative and qualitative), payment of the required fees and, finally, issuance of the licence.
Renewal of the SIL: The platform includes validity monitoring processes, notifying the economic operator when the licence period expires or when the granting conditions change, allowing the renewal procedure to be initiated.
